Gary is a "self-taught" artist having an inate love of drawing, colors and composition; gravitating to Western culture coming from an early upbringing that is seen in several of his pieces. He prefers oil over other mediums and finds most satisfaction in western still lifes using various pieces of "cowboy" gear, guns and other artifacts found in the culture of the old west and everyday use by men and women who lived and worked on the frontier. Thanks for visiting and enjoy the tour!
